This initiative is part of the urgent measures agreed upon within the framework of the Mataró Social and Economic Reconstruction Board. The aid is intended to cover the interest derived from credit operations formalized due to the economic impact of Covid-19.
The call is open to all economic sectors, as well as social and solidarity economy entities that meet the size requirements of a micro-enterprise. The maximum amount each applicant can receive is €1,058.20, calculated based on the conditions and duration of the loan.
The Mataró City Council has provided these grants with a municipal budgetary allocation of 200,000 €.
The deadline for submitting applications will open from October 15 until November 13. The process must be carried out exclusively electronically through the City Council's Electronic Headquarters.
To be a beneficiary, applicants must have premises in Mataró or have their fiscal domicile there if the activity is carried out without a physical location. Furthermore, the credit or the extension of an existing one must have been requested after the State of Alarm Decree of March 14, 2020.
