The charity tournament, which will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., is part of the celebration events for the 150th anniversary of the Mataró Local Police and collaborates with the Associació Mariona, which supports children with cancer in the Maresme region.
One of the main attractions of the day will be the raffle of sports memorabilia. This includes FC Barcelona jerseys signed by men's first-team players such as local star Lamine Yamal, Jules Koundé, Fermín López, and Andreas Christensen. Jerseys from the women's first team of the Blaugrana club will also be included.
The charitable effort is completed with jerseys and a ball signed by the athletes of the women's water polo first team of the Centre Natació Mataró. Furthermore, basketball player Willy Hernangómez has donated a signed jersey for the raffle.
The competition will feature various teams formed by security forces and local entities, including the Local Police, the Mossos d’Esquadra, the Quatre Camins Penitentiary Center, the Mataró Firefighters, and the Illustrious Bar Association of Mataró. The organization encourages citizens to attend to ensure that no child is left without a toy this Christmas.
