Mataró's sports teams experienced a mixed weekend of results, highlighted by a crucial football victory for CE Mataró, moving them away from the relegation zone, and a dominant win for Assolim CN Mataró in water polo.

The Club Esportiu Mataró football team has regained optimism after securing an important home victory against Cabrils. This triumph allows the team, managed by Aitor González, to open a six-point gap from the relegation zone and position themselves five points from the promotion play-offs, with six matches remaining.
In the football match, CE Mataró defeated CE Cabrils 3-2. The home goals were scored by Junnosuke Higashi (1'), Mady Traoré (38'), and Àlex Esteban, who netted the winning goal in the 75th minute. For Cabrils, Néstor González (21') and David Soliano (58') scored the equalizers.
In water polo, Assolim CN Mataró achieved a clear victory of 10-22 against Waterpolo Iruña. The Mataró team dominated the encounter, extending their lead with a 1-9 run in the final quarter, thereby solidifying their position.
The day was less favorable for the basketball teams. Talenom Boet Mataró fell 43-69 to TGN Bàsquet, following a disastrous start to the game with a 5-24 run. RomaKuruma UE Mataró also suffered a 70-52 defeat against Robles Lleida, with a decisive 21-5 run in the third quarter. Finally, CB Boet Mataró lost heavily 113-82 against Castelldefels, confirming their penultimate position in the league with a record of 5 wins and 19 losses.
In futsal, Futsal Cartonajes Pans Mataró won 1-4 against Avenida Alagón FS, the bottom-ranked team, placing them eighth with 33 points. Futsal Gestoria Luis Mataró, the league leader, secured another victory, winning 2-5 against Cerezo Futsal Lleida, with goals from Pastor, Casas, Heit, Hermosel, and Lluch.
