The winning number for the first prize, 06703, was widely distributed throughout the province of Barcelona. In addition to the capital of Maresme, luck reached the city of Barcelona, Terrassa, Cornellà de Llobregat, El Prat, Rubí, Mollet, Sant Pere de Ribes, Castelldefels, and Sabadell, as well as Salou (Tarragona).
The second prize, corresponding to the number 45875 and worth 75,000 euros per ticket, also partially landed in the Catalan capital, Barcelona. However, the third prize, 32615, did not appear in Catalonia and went entirely to the towns of Burgos and Granada.
Regarding spending, Catalans invested nearly 92.7 million euros in tickets for this year's Three Kings Lottery, with an average expenditure per inhabitant of 11.41 euros. This figure is slightly lower than that recorded last year. The province of Barcelona remains the area that spent the most money, with 65.7 million euros invested.
It should be noted that the largest prizes are subject to taxation. First prize winners will have to pay 32,000 euros in taxes, while second prize winners will pay 7,000 euros. The third prize and lower amounts are exempt from taxation as they do not exceed the legal threshold.
