The Maresme region is gearing up for the 2026 musical summer with the first confirmed artists for the NEC Festival in Calella and the Mar d’Estiu festival in Santa Susanna, featuring major names from the Catalan and Spanish scenes.

The NEC Festival in Calella will celebrate its 15th anniversary with a special edition and major names. The first confirmed artists include Sau, Blaumut, Los Toreros Muertos, and La Cabra Mecánica.
On Friday, July 24, Sau and Blaumut will perform a highly anticipated double concert. Sau will present “Un concert de pel·lícula,” an immersive experience featuring unreleased images and fragments of the biopic Els de Sau, while Blaumut celebrates 14 years of trajectory.
On Saturday, July 25, the focus shifts to 90s rock with the irreverent energy of Los Toreros Muertos and the hits of La Cabra Mecánica, which will also present the album Canciones y maquetas (1993–1997). Tickets for NEC are already on sale at a limited promotional price.
Meanwhile, Santa Susanna is bringing back the Mar d’Estiu Festival after a year-long hiatus. This edition will feature Sergio Dalma, Joan Dausà, Sopa de Cabra, Els Amics de les Arts, and Ginestà.
The festival, scheduled between late July and mid-August, will introduce the new Garden Village, a gastronomic area featuring local restaurateurs. Tickets for Mar d’Estiu will be available starting December 15.
