The town of Castellterçol is set to distribute 5,500 portions of its traditional meat stew this Friday at Prat de la Riba square, marking the highlight of the local festive calendar.

Cooking begins at 7:00 AM, as local chefs prepare the Escudella using traditional methods. The distribution will start at 1:00 PM following a formal blessing. To ensure fairness, each person is limited to two large ladles of the stew, which is made exclusively with meat.
The event also features a local fair, workshops, and a communal breakfast. This year's celebration follows the passing of Joan Capdevila i Oller, the town's official chronicler and long-time festival participant, who died on December 17, 2025.
