The Amposta Regional Hospital has reaffirmed its commitment to excellence in healthcare, following the successful completion of external audits for the ISO 9001:2015 standard by its Radiology, Laboratory, and Transfusion services.

The Radiology Service, which first obtained certification in 2023, successfully completed its first recertification this 2026. The audit highlighted a high level of care quality and strong patient satisfaction. Key strengths identified included efficient management, effective incident response, and excellent communication channels with users.
Furthermore, the evaluation helped define a future roadmap, identifying strategic improvement opportunities aimed at optimizing accessibility, reducing waiting lists, and streamlining diagnostic processes.
Meanwhile, the Laboratory, Clinical Analysis, and Transfusion Services successfully passed their external follow-up audit with no non-conformities detected. This area, which has held its quality seal continuously since 2013, thus consolidates the maturity and stability of its system after last year's recertification.
The report particularly praised the rigor in recording sample incidents, the onboarding process for new staff, the excellent management of user attention (complaints, claims, and acknowledgments), and the optimal results achieved in external controls during 2025.
These collective successes reaffirm the Amposta Regional Hospital's commitment to safety, reliability, and healthcare excellence, ensuring rigorous quality standards and continuous improvement for the benefit of patients.
