The town of Alcanar will host this Saturday, March 14, the second edition of Black Connection Alcanar-Morella, an event merging crime fiction with local gastronomy.

The Teatre Auditori Alcanar will be the main venue for this initiative organized with Morella Negra. The festival aims to promote authors from the Catalan and Valencian linguistic areas through literary panels and book signings.
Additionally, the Montsià region will celebrate the Godall Oil and Asparagus Fair. The weekend program includes traditional breakfasts, guided tours of the oil mill, and the famous longest asparagus competition.
The cultural weekend also features Montse Castellà performing a tribute to Joan Baez in Ulldecona, and the start of the Tortosa Irish Festival, bringing Irish traditions to the Baix Ebre capital.
