The Alcanar Town Council and the FC Barcelona Foundation have organized an Ecocursa for Sunday, March 22, aiming to combine physical activity with environmental preservation in the local area.

Under the slogan Cuidar l'entorn també és un esport (Taking care of the environment is also a sport), participants will gather at the Alcanar Civic Center at 9:30 AM. Teams of three to six people will spend an hour and a half collecting litter from designated natural zones.
The project is supported by Barça Activa't, the Tarragona Provincial Council, Fundación Diagrama, and Take Action Delta. After the collection, the waste will be weighed to identify the most productive team, followed by prize giveaways and raffles for all volunteers.
Participation is free of charge, though prior registration is mandatory. The event seeks to raise public awareness about the environmental impact of waste and encourage collective action to protect the natural landscapes of the Montsià region.
