The Amposta City Council and the Museu de les Terres de l'Ebre will launch the 15th edition of the Biografies Ampostines series on February 19 to preserve local collective memory.

The program features Francesc Casanovas, a world-renowned musician who directed La Lira Ampostina, the Lafont family of the historic La Txorisera butcher shop, and the local tailor Santiago Montañés.
Organized by the URV and local institutions, the lectures aim to showcase the social and cultural impact of these individuals on the Montsià region and the Ebro Delta history.
