The event will bring together five territorial selections: Barcelona North, Barcelona South, Girona, Lleida, and Tarragona. These teams will compete in a group stage followed by semifinals and finals, held on the Sundays of each weekend.
The Mayor of Amposta, along with the Councilor for Sports, highlighted the importance of collaboration between the Club Hoquei Amposta, families, the Catalan Skating Federation, and the City Council to make the event possible. They emphasized that these synergies are key to promoting sports in the city.
The territorial representative for sports in Terres de l’Ebre stressed the boost this event provides for women's sports and for young athletes in the region. They also thanked all involved parties, including volunteers.
The president of Club Hoquei Amposta expressed the club's satisfaction in hosting such a significant championship, viewing hockey as a way of life for the club and the community.
The delegate of the Catalan Skating Federation for Tarragona and Terres de l’Ebre recognized the Club Hoquei Amposta as a benchmark in Catalonia and called for increased investment in sports facilities in the region, arguing that such events generate wealth and health.
