The Citizen Ombudsman of Amposta, Amadea Ferreres, handled 44 complaints during 2025, successfully resolving 35 cases as reported during the municipal plenary session held this Monday.

During the February session, Ferreres detailed that complaints ranged from neighborhood disputes to issues with utility companies. The total number of cases has decreased compared to previous years, maintaining a high efficiency rate in mediation within the Montsià region.

"The resolution of conflicts sometimes requires civil or criminal proceedings that go beyond municipal powers."
