The Amposta Regional Hospital has successfully passed external quality audits for the ISO 9001:2015 standard, reaffirming its commitment to efficient and patient-centered healthcare.

The Radiology, Laboratory, Clinical Analysis, and Transfusion services have revalidated their international certificates, demonstrating high user satisfaction and the robustness of their operational processes.
The Radiology Service, certified since 2023, successfully completed its first recertification this year with very positive results. The audit particularly valued efficiency in management, responsiveness to incidents, and the quality of communication channels with patients. Opportunities for improvement were also identified to optimize accessibility, reduce waiting lists, and streamline diagnostic processes.
Regarding the Laboratory, Clinical Analysis, and Transfusion Service, it passed the follow-up audit without any non-conformities, consolidating a quality system it has maintained continuously since 2013. The report highlights the rigor in sample control, the onboarding process for new staff, the effectiveness in user care management, and excellent results in external controls.
This double success strengthens the position of the Amposta hospital center as a benchmark in healthcare quality and underscores the work of its professionals, as well as its commitment to continuous improvement and patient safety.
