The Amposta City Council issued a municipal decree this Saturday, February 14, suspending all public activities and closing facilities due to a severe windstorm with gusts exceeding 100 km/h.

Safety measures, effective from 10:30 AM today until 12:00 PM on Sunday, include the closure of the municipal pool, the Library, and the Museum. Public parks, gardens, and the local cemetery have also been shut down to the public.

"Trees are currently falling and debris is coming loose. We ask all citizens to understand that we are facing an extraordinary situation."
