The police operation began following the discovery of an abandoned vehicle in the area, which had several bullet holes in its bodywork and contained a weapon inside. This led officers to suspect that the car was linked to an attempted drug robbery between criminal groups, known as a drug heist.

Upon inspecting the surroundings, officers located an industrial warehouse with the door left open. Inside, they discovered a large quantity of metal boxes containing the narcotic substance. To access the contents, the intervention of the Bombers de la Generalitat was required, using specialized tools to pierce the metal structures.

The investigation confirmed that the warehouse served as the main logistics center for the criminal network. Officers have verified that, prior to the intervention, the group had already managed to move three tons of hashish, demonstrating the organization's high operational capacity.

As a result of the search and containment operation activated in the area, officers arrested four people traveling in a van on a nearby rural road. Additionally, other arrests related to the case have been made in Sabadell, la Ràpita, and Fuengirola.
