The early morning was marked by the presence of clouds that partially hindered visibility, but did not prevent the observation of the lunar eclipse from various locations in the Terres de l'Ebre, such as Amposta. Cameras from Canal 21 Ebre captured images of the Moon during the astronomical event.
The eclipse, which lasted for over three hours, began at 4:34 AM and concluded at 7:52 AM. The moment of maximum visibility occurred at 6:13 AM, when the Earth covered 93% of the lunar surface.
The next major astronomical event will arrive on August 2, 2027, with a total solar eclipse that can be fully observed in southern Spain and North Africa.
