The Mossos d'Esquadra police arrested a 56-year-old man last Friday in Amposta for professional intrusion after practicing dentistry without any legal qualification or registration.

The suspect had already been reported in 2024 for similar activities. The current investigation began on January 19 when a patient alerted the Mossos d'Esquadra about her suspicions regarding the legality of the dental practice located in the man's home.
According to the victim, the building had recently suffered a fire. Despite the apartment being roofless and covered in ash, the man insisted on continuing his medical visits in these unsanitary conditions.

The man treated patients in a roofless space with the floor covered in ash following a fire.

The patient, who had paid for treatments in advance and in cash, contacted the Official College of Odontologists and Stomatologists of Catalonia, which confirmed the man was not registered. He was brought before the duty court in Amposta last Friday.
