From September 9th to 13th, the Casal d’Amposta, the Auditori de la Lira Ampostina, and the Museu de les Terres de l’Ebre will be the venues for screenings, guest appearances, and parallel activities focused on genre cinema. The mayor, Adam Tomàs, has highlighted the festival's value in "placing Amposta within the genre cinema circuit" and has emphasized the municipal support for the organization, led by Jacint Espuny.
Espuny has pointed out that the majority of the productions are premieres and come from countries such as Finland, Uruguay, Chile, South Korea, Italy, Germany, and the United States. The program includes nearly a hundred short films and several feature films, many of which are premiering in Spain. The first day begins with the screening of the Finnish production Gravediggers, before the official inauguration.
The Made in Terres de l’Ebre section will focus on the audiovisual talent of the region. The competitive sections will cover fantastic, horror, gore, and animation cinema, as well as the amateur section Maledictis. The Goya 2026 award-winning short film, Ángulo muerto, will also be screened, with its director, Cristian Beteta, in attendance.
The festival will offer until Sunday a hundred shorts, 12 feature films, and documentaries. Tickets are priced at 4 euros per session, with daily passes (10 euros) or a full festival pass (35 euros).
This year, the festival honors actress Victoria Vera, who will receive the Trofeu Pont de l’Infern on Saturday at 6:30 PM, following an interview conducted by Xavier Miró. The film Acosada, starring Vera, will be screened.
Additionally, the Museu de les Terres de l’Ebre hosts the exhibition 007 Missió Terres de l’Ebre until September 28th, dedicated to the universe of James Bond. The exhibition will include a tasting of the Vesper Martini and the screening of the documentary Descobrint Bond: 007 a través de l’objecte.
