The regional director of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Food in Terres de l'Ebre, Frank Pérez, has officially left his position this February, according to government sources.

The resignation of Frank Pérez was made public following the announcement of a new recruitment process to fill the vacancy. No specific reasons for his departure have been disclosed by the Department at this stage.
Candidates interested in the regional leadership role have until Thursday, February 26th, to submit their applications. The selection process began earlier this week to ensure a swift transition in the Ebre region.
Despite leaving his regional post, Pérez will continue his political career in the Montsià area. He remains a councillor for New Technologies at the la Ràpita Town Hall, representing the Progrés per la Ràpita - PSC government group.
