La Ràpita and Montsià Celebrate Carnival After Wind Delays

Over twenty towns in the Ebro region hold their rescheduled parades and costume parties this weekend.

The towns of la Ràpita and the Montsià region are hosting their Carnival festivities this weekend, from February 20th to 22nd, following last week's weather delays.

In la Ràpita, the celebration features the Carnival Queen's speech on Friday and the main parade on Saturday. A new event called Carnamar will debut on Sunday, combining water sports with festive activities at the Espai firal 1 d'octubre.
Towns like Alcanar, la Sénia, and la Galera are also joining the festivities with parades and contests. Visitors can also enjoy the Galera Gastronomic Days, featuring local seafood menus in 47 restaurants across the region until March 8th.
