Ram-raid robbery at a jewelry store in La Sénia

A group of three or four thieves used a car to smash into the Arrufat Jewelry store during the early hours of Friday morning.

A group of three or four thieves rammed a car into the window display of the Arrufat Jewelry store in La Sénia's Plaça Major early Friday morning to steal exposed jewels.

The incident took place around 3:15 AM on Friday, February 6, 2026, when the loud noise of the impact woke up several residents near the Plaça Major. The assailants used a vehicle to break through the security grille and the storefront window.
According to police sources, the group consisted of between three and four individuals. Once they gained access to Arrufat Jewelry, they acted very quickly, taking all the jewelry pieces that were on display in a matter of minutes.

The thieves fled at high speed, leaving the rammed car at the scene and utilizing a second vehicle.

The thieves immediately fled the scene using a second vehicle, leaving behind the car they had used for the ram-raid. The Mossos d'Esquadra (Catalan Police) have currently launched an investigation to locate those responsible for the robbery in La Sénia.
