The arrest occurred following an investigation initiated after a forced robbery inside a vehicle, recorded during the early hours of April 26 in Amposta.

According to police reports, the detainee is also believed to be connected to several thefts from commercial establishments and other robberies inside vehicles, which he accessed by breaking windows.

The police investigation allowed for the identification and location of the suspect, who was finally arrested by municipal agents as part of the follow-up actions for the various criminal acts. After being brought before a judge, the competent court ordered his imprisonment on April 28.
