The town of Ulldecona will host the second edition of the PARCA Festival on October 30th and 31st, a cultural initiative transforming the Ermita de la Pietat into a space for dialogue on death, grief, and memory.

Following the success of its first edition, which gathered over 400 people, the festival returns with a proposal combining artistic interdisciplinarity with spaces for thought and debate. The aim is to foster citizen participation and strengthen ties with the local territory.
To make this new edition possible, the organization has launched a crowdfunding campaign on the Verkami platform. This initiative seeks to involve the community and emphasize the collective nature of the project. Patrons who participate will gain access to various rewards, including festival materials, cultural experiences, and activities related to the program.

"The project aims to become a meeting point for collective reflection on often-invisibilized issues, such as death and memory."

The PARCA Festival thus reaffirms its commitment to creating spaces for shared reflection and supporting the local cultural fabric. The proposal connects tradition with contemporaneity, offering a unique perspective on fundamental themes of human existence.
