This Sunday, 21 municipalities in Catalonia are on alert for extreme forest fire risk, with Rural Agents activating Plan Alfa level 4.

The Rural Agents have reported that this Sunday, level 4 of the Plan Alfa for extreme forest fire danger has been activated in 21 municipalities across 7 counties. Additionally, 177 municipalities in 17 counties are under level 3, indicating a very high risk.
As a precautionary measure, access to three key natural spaces remains restricted: Baronia de Rialb, Ribera Salada, and the Montmell-Marmellar Natural Space.
Authorities urge the public to exercise extreme caution and avoid any activity that could spark a fire. A call is made to respect the established restrictions to ensure public safety and protect the natural environment in this high-risk situation.
