The Mossos d'Esquadra arrested a 37-year-old man in Balaguer last Monday for the theft of two bicycles valued at 3,700 euros from a storage unit.

The crime took place last Saturday when individuals forced entry into two storage rooms in a residential building on Francesc Macià Avenue. Two high-end bicycles were reported missing following the break-in.
Following a tip-off from local citizens, officers located the suspect at Pau Casals Square. The police successfully recovered both bicycles, which have since been returned to their rightful owner.
The suspect, who has a prior criminal record for property crimes, was brought before the Balaguer Duty Court this morning to face charges of robbery with force.
