The maintenance tasks carried out by the Endesa company in the electrical network of the Noguerola area left several buildings without electricity from early morning until past noon. Although the works had been previously announced by the company, the final impact was greater than expected.
The cut left commercial establishments and offices without power, which, according to initial notices, were supposed to be excluded from the interruption. Among those affected were the delegation of Empresa i Treball (Business and Labor) located on General Brito street, as well as a bakery cafe on the same road.
“"They told me I wouldn't be left without power, but since eight o'clock there has been none. I have full refrigerators, unable to properly serve my customers and risking losing stock."
The establishment manager lamented the situation, especially due to the risk of losing refrigerated products. The electric service was finally restored shortly after one o'clock in the afternoon. The company indicated that affected users can file a formal claim.
