The Torrelameu Town Council and the Lleida Provincial Council have introduced the Obèlix Breakfast, a traditional food event scheduled for March 15th to support the farming community.

The event aims to promote Catalan culinary traditions while addressing the crisis caused by African Swine Fever (ASF). Local authorities, including Mayor Carles Comes, emphasized the need for government involvement to protect the regional economy.

"This initiative expresses support for the pork sector, which is fundamental to the economy and productive fabric of our regions."
