The fire broke out shortly before 8:00 AM. Two Fire Brigade units and two Medical Emergency System (SEM) ambulances were dispatched to the scene to control the blaze and assist the residents.
Both individuals were evacuated to the Arnau de Vilanova Hospital in Lleida. Medical sources have categorized their condition as less serious following the initial assessment at the site.
