The Gold Interpretation Center of Balaguer received a visit this morning from the director of the National Museum of Science and Technology of Catalonia, Albert Tulleuda, and the director of the Territorial Services of Culture in Lleida, Montserrat Parra. The meeting aimed to discuss the ongoing reinforcement of this heritage facility and its potential integration into the network of national museums.
During the visit, various educational and outreach activities conducted at the center throughout the year were explained. The institutional representatives explored the exhibition space dedicated to the history of gold mining in the Segre River and participated in a demonstration of traditional gold panning workshops.
