The exterior wall of the Casa de la Vila (Town Hall) in Torrelameu (la Noguera) collapsed this Thursday due to water accumulation caused by the recent severe weather.

The new collapse, which occurred in the municipal center of Torrelameu, exposed the building's interior brick wall. This incident adds to several landslides recorded in the Lleida regions due to intense rainfall.

"The wall faces an inner courtyard, so there is no risk whatsoever."

Torrelameu Town Council · Local Authority
Although the council confirmed that there was no danger to people and traffic was unaffected, it did cause cold air, water, and mud to enter the interior of the room adjacent to the wall.
Local authorities in Torrelameu emphasized that no injuries were reported. The heavy rains of recent days have increased the possibility of landslides, such as those that have occurred on key roads like the C-14 in Ribera d'Urgellet or the access to Gerb.
