Civil Protection has recommended extreme caution for the next two hours due to the forecast of storms with hail and strong winds in the northeast of Catalonia. The Inuncat plan alert has been activated for potential floods and overflows resulting from these weather conditions.
In the Osona region, particularly in areas like Santa Eulàlia de Riuprimer, the intensity of the storms is already being felt with thunderstorms accompanied by hail and wind gusts.
This Meteocat alert is part of a general context of abrupt weather changes in Catalonia, with instability, heavy showers, and a drop in temperatures affecting almost the entire country. In the Balearic Islands, the government has also activated the Inunbal plan in pre-alert.
