The 20-year-old player from Osona arrives to bring goals and technical skill to the team coached by Jordi Boada. Armengol, who spent his entire sporting career at Voltregà, debuting in the OK Lliga at 17 and with European and Spanish junior national team experience, will seek playing time and prominence on the court. Last season, he scored four goals in 16 matches.
The 'cuatribarrat' team has also confirmed the continuity of key players such as captain Roger Codinach, who was the fourth top scorer with 10 goals last season, and Nil López, who contributed ten goals and three assists. The goalkeeping position will be secured with the renewals of Marc Panella and Carlos Paneque, who were instrumental in the team's strong defense.
Young Andorran international Bernat Picanyol will also continue, having contributed ten goals to the club's successful campaign. Picanyol will participate in the World Roller Games with his national team in September, making him one of the initial absences for the team.
The club has also announced two departures: Lluc Sitjà, who has signed for SHUM Maçanet to return to OK Lliga, and Adam Gussinyer. The Manlleu team will return to training in late August to prepare for the league start on September 26th against Mollerussa.
