Club Patí Manlleu has set the dates for the start of pre-season training for its top two teams, men's and women's, as they gear up for the Catalan League.

The men's first team of Club Patí Manlleu will commence training on Monday, August 24. The primary objective is to prepare for the Catalan League Plata, a competition they won last season. Their first practice match will be on Saturday, August 29 at the Municipal stadium against Tordera, offering an opportunity to test new plays and give minutes to young players and new signings like Xevi Armengol.
Coach Jordi Boada views the close proximity of the first three Catalan League matches as a disadvantage, potentially leaving the team without competition for three weeks if they don't qualify for the final stage. Additionally, the team faces the season with the absence of Bernat Picanyol, who is recovering from hip surgery.
Meanwhile, the women's first team will resume activities on Monday, August 31. Their debut in the Catalan Women's League is scheduled for Wednesday, September 23, on the road against Bigues i Riells. The start of the OK Women's League has been postponed to late October due to the World Roller Games in Paraguay.
Coach Maria Díez has planned an intensive pre-season to tackle a demanding season. The women's team also aims to reach the final stage of preparatory tournaments for the national leagues.
Ràdio Manlleu has renewed its collaboration agreement with Club Patí Manlleu. The municipal radio station will provide weekly coverage of the club's news and broadcast matches of both the men's and women's first teams. Furthermore, it will join the sports club's communication team to enhance information dissemination.
