The Department of Education has not received formal requests to withdraw from the pilot program integrating Mossos d'Esquadra agents in educational centers, despite four faculty boards expressing opposition.

Sources from the ministry have confirmed that, to date, none of the 14 participating centers in the program have submitted an official request to disassociate themselves. This plan involves the presence of plainclothes Mossos d'Esquadra agents in schools and institutes, from primary to post-compulsory education, with the aim of carrying out prevention and support tasks.
However, the faculty boards of four of these centers have publicly expressed their rejection of the initiative and stated their desire not to be part of it. These centers are the Institut Margarida Xirgu in l'Hospitalet de Llobregat and three institutes in Vic: the Institut Jaume Callís, the Institut la Plana, and the Institut Comtat d'Osona.
The plan has generated considerable opposition within the educational community. In response to criticism, the Department of Education had previously assured that participation in the program would be voluntary and that no center would be obliged to remain if they did not wish to.
