Mancomunitat La Plana and Mancomunitat del Lluçanès have initiated discussions to strengthen their collaboration and enhance public services in their respective territories.

The presidents, Pere Medina Serrahima (La Plana) and Ramon Padrós Ferrer (Lluçanès), along with managers Carles Bassaganya Serra and Carles Banús Puigivila, met this Tuesday to exchange experiences in joint management and identify common needs.
The main objective of this meeting is to leverage mutual knowledge to advance towards more efficient and quality public services, tailored to the needs of the citizens of the eight towns in Lluçanès and the fourteen towns in La Plana, located in Osona and El Moianès.
Pere Medina Serrahima, also president of the Association of Mancomunitats of Catalonia (AMC), highlighted the importance of pooling efforts among supramunicipal entities: “mancomunitats are an example of how joining forces allows us to multiply our capacity to offer better public services”. He emphasized that this cooperation should serve as a model for facing common challenges.
This initiative is part of the Mancomunitat Action Plan (PAM) 2023-2027, specifically within the "Caring for the towns" axis, and responds to the strategic objective of providing efficient and quality public services.
