The main objective of the Lila Point is to ensure that festivals are spaces free from sexist and LGTBI-phobic aggressions. This service will offer information, support, and advice, creating a safe and confidential space to raise awareness about the importance of acting against unacceptable behavior.
The Lila Point information tent will be set up at various events. During the Festa Major, it will be present at the Plaça de la Flama del Canigó on Friday, August 14, coinciding with the Festa del Serpent and Salt del Diamant. On Saturday, August 15, the service will provide support during the Enterrament de la Bota parade, and on Sunday, August 16, it will be available at the Alternative music cycle of Fes-te Jove at the Prat del Rocòdrom.
In addition to the physical Lila Point, citizens have access to the 'Botó Lila' (Lila Button), a tool available through the 'M7 Citizen Security' mobile application. This app, downloadable for Android and Apple, allows users to register or log in and add a widget to their phone's screen.
In case of emergency, pressing the 'Botó Lila' will send a direct alert to the Manlleu Local Police station. Relevant protocols will be activated, and images of the aggressor can be captured via the mobile phone to verify the facts and provide prompt assistance.
