Residents in this area of Vic have lodged a formal complaint about the condition of a manhole cover at the intersection of Jaume Munmany and Sant Francesc streets. The constant passage of vehicles over the cover causes it to move, creating loud, sharp noises, particularly at night, making it difficult to sleep.
According to residents, a previous repair involving welding has not provided a lasting solution, as the problem recurred just a few days later. Therefore, they are requesting an inspection and a permanent fix to eliminate the noise nuisance.
“"We need another solution or for the sewer to be managed differently so it lasts longer."
The request also asks for information regarding the planned actions by the City Council to permanently resolve this issue.
