The Sant Bartomeu del Grau City Council has renovated the municipal sports court on Camí del Roc Llarg, installing artificial turf and improving the perimeter fences.

The municipal sports court on Camí del Roc Llarg in Sant Bartomeu del Grau has undergone a significant renovation. The perimeter protection fences have been replaced, costing €45,120, of which €45,000 comes from a grant from the Consell Català de l’Esport, part of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
Additionally, artificial turf has been installed on the court, an initiative that involved an investment of €46,400, financed entirely with the council's own resources.
According to councilor Roger Vilamala, the need to upgrade the facilities responded to requests from residents who use the court as a meeting point.
The court, which still requires minor finishing touches, will be officially inaugurated during the upcoming Festa Major with a futsal tournament organized by the youth committee.
Access to the court will remain free and open to everyone. However, the council is considering implementing a reservation system to ensure the availability of the space for games among friends.
