The Iberian settlement of Casol de Puigcastellet hosted the 26th Iberian Weekend last Saturday, a consolidated event that this year stood out for its numerous participants and a theme focused on Iberian urbanism.

After a postponement due to rain, the celebration of the 26th Iberian Weekend at Casol de Puigcastellet took place with great success this past Saturday. The event, dedicated to Iberian history and heritage, attracted a large attendance to the archaeological site.
The celebration began at 4 PM with a popular walk from the village. Along the route, the Grup de Teatre Atlàntida entertained participants with theatrical sketches, culminating in a main performance at the site. The central theme of this edition revolved around urbanism in Iberian culture.
To illustrate the construction techniques of ancient settlements, a live demonstration of the stonemason trade was carried out by Evarist Dodas. Attendees could learn firsthand about the traditional tools and methods of this ancient craft. The day concluded with a snack for all participants.
