Club Esportiu Futbol Sala Manlleu kicks off the 2026-2027 season this weekend, debuting in group 1 of the Third National Division. The team, led by Alberto Cárdenas, will face challenging opponents during the first seven matchdays, including teams that finished in high positions or in higher categories last season.
The first matchday will take the quadribarrat team to the Catalan capital to play against Futbol Sala Arrels. This Barcelona-based team finished last season among the top five in group 2 of the Third National Division and has strengthened with Pol Montes, from their reserve team, and the return of Pol Moreno. They will retain key players like Saïd Draoui and Àlex Salat to form a competitive squad.
Alberto Cárdenas will have the full squad available, with the sole exception of Jan Colomer, who is still recovering from an injury. The team aims to build on the improvement shown in recent friendly matches.
