Seven language pairs, composed of volunteer and learning students, have started the Language Volunteer program this Tuesday at Institut del Ter in Manlleu, aiming to promote the use of Catalan.

Institut del Ter in Manlleu hosted the presentation of the seven language pairs participating this year in the Language Volunteer program. These pairs, formed by volunteer and learning students from the same center, aim to foster the use of Catalan through relaxed conversations in a familiar environment.
During the presentation event, students shared their expectations and received basic guidance to start their meetings. Conversation sessions will take place every Tuesday afternoon at the institute's facilities for ten weeks, with the goal of helping the pairs gain confidence and fluency in using the language.
Upon completion of the program, participants will receive recognition for their involvement and commitment.
In parallel, this academic year the Language Volunteer program has also been launched at Institut Antoni Pous in Manlleu, thus expanding the presence of this initiative in the city's educational centers and contributing to the promotion of social Catalan use among young people.
