The Grup Excursionista Manlleu, supported by the FEEC, organized the IX Dry Tooling Festival last Saturday at the Can Tiba-li climbing wall.

The event, which usually takes place outdoors, was exceptionally held indoors, specifically at the Can Tiba-li facilities in Manlleu. The organization was handled by the Grup Excursionista Manlleu in collaboration with the Federació d’Entitats Excursionistes de Catalunya (FEEC).
The competition gathered nearly thirty climbers who had to tackle a total of twenty blocks. These routes were prepared to adapt to all levels of enthusiasts of this demanding discipline.
Dry tooling is a very specific climbing discipline characterized by the use of mountaineering tools. Participants use ice axes and crampons to progress both on rock walls and, under usual conditions, on ice or snow surfaces.
