The main objective of the intervention is to transform the building to allocate the upper floors for multi-family housing, while the ground floor will remain linked to the Civic Center. The renovation must preserve and enhance the original architecture and the square's facade.
The project will be carried out under the Passivhaus standard, aiming to minimize energy consumption and make the building an efficient, healthy, and sustainable home. The Diputació plans an investment of 1.17 million euros (excluding VAT) for the renovation.
Once the works are completed, the apartments will be made available to the Montesquiu City Council, which will be responsible for their rental. The winning proposal will also include the drafting of the basic and executive project, energy and Passivhaus certification, as well as site supervision. The architectural services contract has a budget of €241,123.22 (including VAT).
This tender represents a further step in expanding the housing stock in Montesquiu and promotes architectural renovation with maximum energy efficiency.
