The event, which filled the municipality of Sant Julià de Vilatorta, was described as a night to live, enjoy, and remember, with a spectacular edition marked by extraordinary participation and significant organizational work.
The creativity, dedication, and effort of the three participating houses – Casa Vermella, Sense Sortida, and L’Últim Passeig – are highlighted. Special thanks are also extended to Les Vilatortines, family members, and collaborators for bringing the streets to life, as well as to Cristina and her family, and the young Xuki and his father for their magnificent performances. The performance by Àlex at the cemetery and the assembly work by Àlex, Quico, and Sandra are also acknowledged.
The participation of Toni López and the mothers from TLS with their dances added more life and spectacle. The 'Trenet de la Bruixa' (Witch's Little Train), thanks to Samanta and Àlex, and especially to the tireless volunteer Miquel, was another major highlight.
The company La Serpentina collaborated in the organization, setup, and dismantling, and municipal watchman Josep Maria ensured safety. Residents of the old town were crucial in providing electricity, access, and showing patience with any disturbances.
The public response was fantastic, with visitors from towns such as Tona, Espinelves, Viladrau, Berga, Manlleu, Torelló, Sant Hipòlit, Vic, and Premià de Mar.
The festival aims to fill the streets with life, boost the 'castanyada' (chestnut festival), local commerce, and restaurants, promote Sant Julià, and attract visitors. Gratitude is expressed to council members, the municipal crew, volunteers, collaborators, residents, and visitors, emphasizing that behind every scare are people who put their heart into it.
