Sant Quirze de Besora is gearing up to host a new edition of its Commerce Weekend on Saturday, October 3rd, and Sunday, October 4th. This event aims to highlight local businesses, regional products, and community life.
Throughout the weekend, a variety of activities designed for all ages are scheduled, with commerce, gastronomy, and regional discovery taking center stage.
Saturday, October 3rd, will kick off with initiatives linked to local commerce, including family activities and a wine and tapas tasting event, intended to animate the streets and invite residents and visitors to enjoy the town's shops and restaurants. On the same day, the art installation “Geometria del color” will open at Can Tija, a project by Margarita Viñas in collaboration with Lluïsa Molina and Elisenda Mallol.
Sunday, October 4th, will feature the 27th Bisaura Tasting Fair, a well-established event in the local calendar since 2000. This fair serves as a showcase for discovering and tasting local products such as cakes, cured meats, and ratafia, while also promoting regional businesses, artisans, and organizations. Local merchants will also display their products on the street during the morning.
Concurrently, the second edition of ReVolta d’Armari, a second-hand clothing market promoting reuse, responsible consumption, and textile waste reduction, will take place. This initiative will be held on Mestre Quer street.
The day will also include the workshop “Elaborem ratafia casolana” (Let's make homemade ratafia), led by Faustí de Ratafia Bosch, alongside other activities related to regional traditions.
The Town Council of Sant Quirze de Besora is backing this weekend event to boost local commerce, promote Bisaura's products, and create community gathering spaces. All citizens are invited to participate in the scheduled activities.
