The sporting event will take place at the athletics tracks of the Mas d'en Bigas sports park in Vic, starting at 9:30 AM. The race, created six years ago to raise awareness for adapted sports, now enters a new phase aiming to normalize and integrate this practice within regular sports circuits.
This edition emphasizes greater connection and shared dynamics with the School Cross, held simultaneously at the same venue. The goal is to foster coexistence and joint participation among all children and their families, making the day a more integrated experience.
The course, located on the athletics track's straight, will feature various distances adapted to each participant's needs. It is a non-competitive event for children and young people up to 18 years old with functional diversity. All participants will receive a commemorative medal and various gifts from collaborating entities and companies.
The organization, managed by the City Council of Vic, the Consell Esportiu d'Osona, and the Estel school, believes this initiative can become a benchmark for other school and popular races in the Osona region, encouraging the incorporation of adapted modalities in other calendars.
