The incident took place around 5:15 PM on the well-known long route Performance. According to emergency services, the woman was climbing as the second member of the team when the accidental detachment of two rock holds prevented her from continuing the ascent or descending safely.
A helicopter carrying members of the Special Assistance Group (GRAE) was deployed to the scene. Rescuers performed a rappel maneuver from a higher anchor point to reach the climber's position and guide her down to the base of the cliff.
Upon reaching the ground, the climber was examined by a doctor from the Medical Emergency System (SEM), who confirmed she was uninjured and in perfect health. Rescue teams also assisted her climbing partner in safely reaching the bottom of the route.
