A group of users in Tremp has expressed dissatisfaction over the closure of the town's padel courts, a measure that will leave around a hundred people without service until October 2026.

The controversy began after the facility manager decided to suspend activities in response to a previously published critical opinion letter. Regular players have described this decision as disproportionate, arguing that a disagreement over a written piece should not lead to the unilateral closure of the facility.

"I consider the closure of the facilities until October 2026 to be a disproportionate measure."

Despite the criticism regarding the service interruption, those affected also highlighted the management work carried out so far by the person in charge of the Tremp courts. Nevertheless, they insist that the current situation makes little sense and are calling for a reconsideration to restore sports activity in Pallars Jussà.
