The railway operator Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC) has opened the tender this Monday for a new pedestrian bridge at the Cellers-Llimiana stop in Castell de Mur.

The project has a budget of 521,395 euros and an execution period of six months. The 20-meter long metal bridge will link the Lakes Cycling Route with the hiking path to the Roca Regina viewpoint, enhancing safety and accessibility.
The Lleida-La Pobla de Segur line reached a record 487,000 passengers in 2025. Since 2005, FGC has invested over 135 million euros in the line, focusing mainly on infrastructure improvements such as bridges, tunnels, and track safety.
