The Generalitat Firefighters carried out the rescue of a calf this Monday at noon after it fell down a twenty-meter slope in la Pobla de Segur.

The emergency call was received at 12:00 PM via the 112 emergency number. According to emergency services, the animal had fallen from a path where the livestock was moving, becoming trapped in a hard-to-reach area at the bottom of a ravine, very close to a river.
A ground unit of the Firefighters was dispatched to the scene. The professionals descended to the spot where the calf was located and, after confirming the animal was in good health, proceeded to free it.
Finally, the team guided the animal back to the path, where it was returned to its owner without any physical injuries or further complications during the operation.
